Education programme and funding news!
This month we have launched our education programme delivered in the form of online webinars to health and social care professionals and student nurses in Dudley and Wolverhampton. The webinar was developed and delivered by the No Barriers Here© co-production team and has received excellent feedback! Well done, Sam, Joanne and Vince for providing a wonderful education session, addressing barriers that people with learning disabilities experience and challenging assumptions.
We were delighted to hear that we have been successful in receiving additional funding to share the No Barriers Here© project in the form of a film with thanks to Black Country and West Birmingham Clinical Commissioning Group. We have commissioned film makers Nick Fogg and Mike Smart of Piece of String Media to remotely produce a film (due to lockdown restrictions) that we hope will capture the essence and impact of the project.
